the way gold drops work are the fact that guild wars reviews how many gold weapons you have over your account, the less you have in storage/iventory the more they will drop.

All I can say is that Hydras and Griffons don't drop anything anymore.
Used to be a few golds per trip, now nothing but crap crap crap.
This doesn't really bother me much, as I only use these areas for attribute refunds, but it was nice to get a worthless gold item time to time.

Solo Farming
OK, with everyone so excited about this build, I thought I might share my build with you also. It is very easy for a Wa/Mo to make, and is virtually foolproof....
First off, my Armament is All Platemail set, except for the boots, which are Knight's. All Major Runes (Vigor, Tactics, Strength, Swordsmanship, Absorption). I wield a simple Spatha of Defense (15% while enchanted / +5 Armor) and the collector Crimson (+45 health while enchanted / -2 dmg enchanted).
I have 2 in Smiting, 9 in Strength, 14 Swordsmanship, and 13 Tactics.
Skill set is as follows (in order from left to right).....
Galrath Slash, Power Strike, Bonnetti's Defense, Gladiator's Defense, Watchful Spirit, Balthatzar's Spirit, Healing Signet, and Sprint(optional; used to get away from Rockshots [ their disrupts SUCK] )......in that order.
1. Start with Spirits
2. Run into group, attack for a min., use Bonnetti's, gain energy, while attacking.
3. Galrath then Power, when Bonnetti's is about to go off, and it will recharge Bonnetti's.
4. Then hit Gladiator's, when it becomes available.
5. Healing Signet while Gladiator's is on.
Repeat steps 2 and 3, until Glad's is back up, then hit it again.
If your health gets low for any reason, hit Healing Signet, while Gladiator's is on.
Repeat and Farm solo forever. I am up to 97k now, not to mention the numerous killer Golds I have found, and the numerous Dune Borrower Jaws and Minotaur Horns I get from the solo Elona Reach mission run (just the first part). If you are ever on, and want to see some of the stuff I collect, or want to see me in action, my main farmer is Synthia Starstriker.

Please. That was very exploitive anyway and not at all inline with the intended purpose of ZF. Farming should work just as well without that exploit.

It really shouldn't trigger on non-monk skills anyways.
Big deal. Use Baths' Aura instead. It's better anyways.

Wouldn't u get more hp and maybe even atribute points if u would use 2 superior and 2 minor +1 major instead of just 5 major coz u can lower the high atributes and add that 2 the lower atributes?

**Confused** Cyclone never used to fire Zealots anyway. Bonetti's yes, but not cyclone axe. Isn't Bonetti's a stance anyway and I thought I read they'd stopped shouts firing zealots, not stances??
Haven't had chance to check my build since the update - waiting for the in-laws to go home before I jump on the pc for some serious catch up

Yeah really. Complaining about the fix to Zealot's Fire is pretty ridiculous. The skill was broken as hell as almost any skill triggered it...which was NOT intended. You can't honestly be surprised that they fixed it...Shouts working with Zealot's Fire? Anyone with a brain would have known it was a bug.

Cyclone used to set off Zelouts fire, ahem Griffon/ Troll farming.
It wasn't a bug, but it was pretty brutal when a group of friends and I built a smite team and replaced the warriors with Monk/W with axes and kept Zelouts fire (at smite 16) on then just spammed stances, shouts, and cyclone.
If A.Net saw the speed that other teams were wasted, they saw they needed to put a stop to the insanity.
That yeam was
2 Mo/W Smite/Axe
2 E/Mo Energy Storage/Smite
1 N/Mes all about the well of profain before the other necro got it
2 Mo/W healers
1 Mo/W Prot
I would have loved to hear the TS discussion on who to attack first.
I think what they did absolutely killed my Griffon run Speed skill point farming, but whatever, there is a will, and a way, I'm sure.

yeah, thankyou you chev. It was no bug, guild wars are just trying to balance everything out, which is so unfair for the people that are experienced, the game needs more experienced players to keep it moving. Am very annoyed. My whole guild is absolutley furious. Its there lame attempt of stopping farming, i wouldnt be so mad if they gave you more money for mission, come on 140 gold shared between 8, come off it!! lame lame lame. trying to nerf farming is stupid. None of these problems come up in final fantasy. perhaps i should stick to that and stop complaining on these forums. lol! sorry guys. Does no other farmers agree with me here?!

I'm still solo farming Griffins and various other places. You just need to find other builds to do it. I'm even soloing Perdition Rock with two separate builds, none of which are monk based at all, nor with a warrior primary. My point is that there's always a way...

Can I farm Griffons for Monk/Ele profenssions? I think is good to put attributes, some like this: Heal: 9 Smite: 9 Prot: 10 and Earth: 1-6, maybe Divine: 1-5.
